Meet Taylor-Nicole.

I’m a Black Queer teaching artist born and raised in Mississauga Territory (Detroit, Michigan) and currently living in Duwamish / Coast Salish / Puyallup Territory (Greater Seattle, WA). My cultural roots stem from West Africa, Turtle Island (North America), North/South Carolinas, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, and of course my hometown of Detroit, MI.

I’m an artist and educator, exploring a variety of mediums including performing arts (acting, voice acting, improv, dance, African drum) and visual arts (film, painting, decoupage, clay, upcycling, mixed-media). I have nearly 15 years of experience working with youth of all ages both in and outside of the classroom.

My goal in life is to add the art of play in everything I do.
